And as amazing as that would be, no, that is not my picture.

Here’s what you should know about me: I’m normally not really all that into fashion. Ah! I know, you’re shocked. I love cute and fun and stylish things, but honestly, most of that stuff is so impractical and contradictory to my life here that I just steer clear. I’ve been wearing the same one dollar earrings, four year old shorts, and athletic fit t-shirts for, oh, about a year now. Annnnd I have not hated it.

But this apparel company GETS me.

There are lots of reasons why this is happening.

We’re experimenting with giveaways and the best ways to do them, and then we’re going to tell you what we find out in a new course about giveaways on Food Blogger Pro. Actually, Bjork is – I’m going to make you cookies to eat while you watch the lessons. Yeah? For this giveaway we’re using a schnazzy giveaway tool called Rafflecopter. I love my Kindle! Especially here in the Philippines. Can you imagine if I had to carry all those books around? I’m kind of a book hoarder (as in, get lots of them and read them over the course of 8 years) so the Kindle is perfect for me. Plus Bjork and I can share books just by pressing a button, so I can read books his books about SEO and he can read my mystery novels. It’s nice in theory. And that ends my personal testimonial for the Amazon Kindle.
I loved writing and sharing my ebook. So much so that I’d love to write another one! When you enter the giveaway, you’ll be asked what kind of ebook you might be interested in so that I can get some ideas for my next project.
We love you. Er, I love you. I guess it’s awkward to say “we” because that would mean Bjork too, and, well, he loves you too, but maybe not in the kind of way where he literally says I love you? Did you know? Common Roots Cafe in the Uptown area is where it’s AT.

Common Roots Cafe was recently featured on the Eat Better America Healthy Restaurant Road Trip as a tasty and healthy restaurant in the Minneapolis area. I’ve been hearing good things about this place for a while, so when given the chance to try it out, it was an easy yes!

Although the quantity of food we ate probably doesn’t qualify as healthy (macaroni and cheese with spinach walnut pesto, basil, mozzarella and Parmesan as a STARTER), it felt awesome to enjoy a meal of fresh, organic, creative food that was locally sourced.
