Tis the season already?!?
Yep. TIS THE SEASON. This week it will be Thanksgiving. That is… a lot of things.
As you might remember from the Holiday Survival Guide for Sad People, the holidays are complicated for me this year. And as such, I am 100% dead set on maintaining a low-key holiday presence. Christmas shopping from the couch, under a blanket, in my pajamas, with every type of holiday candle burning in a relaxing, introvert-friendly Christmas shopping shrine around me is exactly how I’m imagining this going down.
You too?
Today’s Christmas shopping list is a hotbed of Amazon items, because Prime. Obviously. When shopping online, your Christmas shopping looks like this:
- Click.
- Open the door for delivery.
- Shower optional.
No going out. No lines. No traffic. Just quiet and comfort and low-to-no-stress. This year especially, this is exactly what I need and want.
Okay! So here goes my favorite gifts to give (and receive) from Amazon. Grab your steamy cashew coffee, light that candle, slide into your slippers, and let’s get that low-key Christmas shopping done.

Shopping + not leaving the house?! Count me in! Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas 🙂
Maybe this is a naive question but: the much beloved Dutch oven, does it need to be a certain brand? Like are the cheap dutch ovens as good as the nicer ones or will it eventually kill me?
This is awesome! I just ordered the forest whiskey glasses for my fiance because he loves the outdoors AND whiskey. It’s meant to be. And I LOVE online shopping
They arrived! Yay two day shipping. These glasses are beautiful! Obsessed
This is the best gift guide! I love gift guide posts around the holidays and can usually find a few good ideas each year from the dozen or so lists I see, but yours — I wish listed practically everything! My shopping may be nearly complete. Thanks Lindsay!

Thanks for this post Lindsay, I love all these ideas! Your list truly has been my favorite of all Christmas gift idea lists out there. I ordered the cabinology book for my dad and Saveur cookbook for my mom. 🙂
Hi Lindsay!
I said I would do it and I just did it!!! I bought the 8 qt Instant Pot and a couple of other things…I hope you get credit for my total purchase! Now I will be scoping out POY IP recipes to use with my new IP!! I also bought some Bulletproof Collogen…I will let you know how that turns out…lots of aching joints at our house with me at 60 and Eddie at 70! LOLOL
Kitty
P.S. I really wanted the treat dispenser for Gracie Blue (so she could get 164 treats like Sage did…wink, wink) but it was a bit out of my price range.
Thank you! I hate shopping, and I love your list. 🙂
Great gift ideas!!
So many mediocre gift guides this year – but this one is great!!
Thank you so much for this post! I got my husband the monogrammed bag and the pine tree hat, and he loved both. My mom was recently diagnosed/treated for bladder cancer, so I got her the necklace with “Survivor” engraved on it. She cried when she opened it and has it worn it every day since.
Thank you!
