Just tried this smoothie for the first time and loved it! So light and refreshing and the green color is beautiful! I will definitely be making this one again!
Today’s healthy glowing coconut green smoothie post is sponsored by my new friends at Bai5!
You guys, I am on a green smoothie KICK. And when I say kick, I mean I’m in this phase where I’m doing a green smoothie every Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday – Friday – Saturday – Sunday of the week. It feels really unusual annnnd sort of amazing.
This little green number is keeping me caught up with all my fruits and veggies plus it tastes amazing!
And all it takes is just frozen peaches, fresh spinach, Bai5 Antioxidant Infusions Molokai Coconut, and some flax or ginger if I’m feeling extra party-ish. I mean, what kind of awesome is that?
Eating vegetables. Let’s go there. Please don’t judge my backsliding, but I used to be super good about eating salads.
Not even in the way like I was so good at it, but more in the way like I actually liked to eat them. I specifically remember one summer back in the day when I was working as a nanny and how much I would genuinely look forward to my daily (I SAID DAILY) spinach salad with carrots and Asian dressing. Every day, always the same, and somehow it was still always exciting to me. A plain, two-veggie spinach salad. I hate myself right now.
Fast forward a few years and a few hundred recipes later, and I’m in this phase where I am a) more hungry in general, and b) more hungry for mouth-rocking flavor and texture. A two-veggie salad is no longer in my vocabulary – if I’m going to eat a spinach salad, it’s going to have at least 800 crunchy things on it (are they fried? I won’t complain), and it will be drizzled heavily with a super-tangy homemade dressing, and you better know I’m going to top it all off with every possible fresh herb in my fridge.
The only problem with being a person who eats fewer salads is that I miss out on the Awesome Feeling that comes with eating raw, fresh vegetables and fruits. We all know it’s going to bust out that inner healthy glow when we eat more produce – sometimes it’s just actually hard to DO it. I mean, I’m sorry self, but one cinnamon-sugar dusted banana on peanut butter toast cannot count as your daily fruit.
GREEN SMOOTHIES THO! They are making my life 10x more healthful while not requiring anyone to eat any salads of any kind.
I pack in about a cup of spinach, a cup of peaches because they have proven themselves to me time and time again to be the best dang fruit for green smoothies in terms of taste, texture, and color, and a cup of Bai5 Antioxidant Infusions Molokai Coconut which is somewhere between a healthy, naturally sweetened juice and a coconut water.
Bai5 is pretty much the best thing to happen to my green smoothies since the rise of those obnoxiously cute paper straws. Before I discovered these drinks, I was just using water in my green smoothies. Healthy points – okay, fine, yes. How-ev-er. The addition of Bai5 makes the difference between me getting up in the morning and making a green smoothie because I should, and me getting up in the morning and making a green smoothie because I can’t wait for mooooore. These drinks are naturally sweetened (no refined sugar! hoorah!) and they pack in a bunch of antioxidants from our familiar old friend, the coffee fruit. WHO EVEN KNEW.
I love all that stuff, but you guys, mostly, what I care about is making a green smoothie that I actually love drinking, and this is the one. Right here, right now.
Keep calm and GREEN on!
Simple Coconut Green Smoothie
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Yield: 1 1x
Description
This Simple Coconut Green Smoothie is loaded with the power of fresh fruits, veggies, and antioxidants. 4 ingredients + super easy for breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Bai5 Antioxidant Infusions Molokai Coconut
- 1 heaping cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 tablespoons flaxmeal
Instructions
- Thaw the peaches so they are still frozen, but soft. I usually put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to one minute, or I just leave them out on the counter for 15-20 minutes. This will help the texture of the smoothie.
- Blend the Bai5 Molokai Coconut, frozen peaches, spinach, and flax meal for 2-3 minutes or until very smooth. Taste and adjust to your liking. Serve or refrigerate immediately.
Notes
Add-ins that I like: chai seeds, honey, fresh ginger, frozen mango chunks, other flavors of Bai5 (especially mango)
- Prep Time: 10 mins

Thank you, Bai5, for sponsoring this post and helping me step up my morning fruits-and-veggies game! I ♡ coconut green smoothies.
Wow, antioxidants from coffee fruit? I’m intrigued. Does the drink have caffeine in it? (I’m just curious–I’d never turn up my nose at a caffeinated smoothie. I just need all the morning help I can get!)
It does! I think it’s 35mg – the same as a cup of green tea. 🙂
I love Bai! This smoothie looks so refreshing!
Never heard of Bai! Will have to look out for it next time I’m at the grocery store since the man of the house does all the shopping. But wife does all the cooking. Sounds fair to me. We find we are eating less salads and more smoothies too because smoothies are portable. We can sip them in the car for breakfast or a snack and it’s not like trying to eat a salad in the car which is messy and somewhat disgusting. And they make you feel so cleansed and alive. Thanks Lindsay! This is great.
Mmmm. We love smoothies. Such a pretty green color.
This smoothie looks SO delicious and refreshing! I haven’t tried the Bai5 Antioxidant Infusions Molokai Coconut before, but it looks good! I’ll have to try it sometime soon.
now that spring is here, I will definitely be doing more smoothies. good to know about new products. pinning it right away.
I just loooove these photos. Makes me want a green smoothie!
Hi Lindsay. This looks interesting. Can you tell us what the nutritional information is on these? You usually have that at the end of the post. Thanks!
Oops, you’re right! I’ll make one – it might be hard to get it exact since I don’t have the data for the Bai5 in our nutrition label database and can’t add it manually, but I will create a label nonetheless!
Can you find Bai5 locally? I’m in the Twin Cities like you.
Hi Susan Bai has a recipe locator at drinkbai.com/locator all you have to do is put in your zip code and it can help you find the closest store
Thanks Georgie! That’s awesome!
This smoothie is gorgeous!!! I love green smoothies, and my kids do too. Which means we all get our veggies! Win win win!!!
That’s a great green smoothie! I will try it tomorrow! Thank you
This looks sooo yummy! I don’t have a blender, but this is making me want to get one.
I have used my food processor for smoothies too and it works great.
Great idea Faith!
I have never heard of Bai before but I love anything coconut. My boys love green smoothies. Honestly we throw what we have on hand in the blender and yumminess happens. This morning I made smoothies with frozen mango, fresh strawberries, ground flax seed, coconut milk, chia seeds, and fresh spinach. They were delicious. Here is a green smoothie recipe my boys love. http://www.homeecathome.com/the-home-economist/healthy-green-smoothies
Look at that colour! I never thought of including peaches in my green smoothies – I’m going to have to give that a whirl!
this looks perfect. I am actually craving a green smoothie now!
Ive been adding about 1/2 cup or so of coconut water to my green smoothies each day for the last 3 months or so. Definitely a yummy addition.
Yay! We’re green smoothie twins.
Great smoothie idea. I have also been using coconut water with pulp in my green smoothies and agree the coconut adds so much flavor. I have had a similar issue with salads the last year for some reason and find I can’t stand chewing all those leaves so I, too, turned to smoothies and love them! Your peaches idea is great. I have been using pears, cucumbers and ginger but agree peaches pack a whole lot more flavor. This is a great idea and wonder what you can do with the other Bai Flavors which are also excellent keep those great ideas coming please
Love the idea of cucumbers!
Usually I am absolutely petrified of green smoothies – kale, spinach etc… But this is one green smoothie that I am really going to enjoy for sure, although it has got spinach! I have pinned it it my Eat in colours:)
Thank you Ishita! Appreciate that!
Love this Lindsay! I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately too. I just can’t get enough green liquids these days – yum. I ‘m super picky about the coconut water I use though cause some of them taste kinda funky. Glad to know this brand passes the taste test!
It’s a good one! Enjoy Christy!
Looks so yummy and healthy!

I love coconut everything! This looks like a great smoothie!
This looks like a smoothie I’d jump out of bed to drink every morning! I have got to try this recipe! And antioxidants from coffee? It’s got my number!
Thanks Robyn! I should have brought some Bai5 to make green smoothies this weekend. Dang! Next year? 🙂
Nice! Such an easy recipe, I love it. Sometimes my green smoothies can get a little out of control with the number of ingredients I pile into them. I need to remember that sometimes simple is better!
Looks good!
What if I don’t have any peaches.. would frozen berries be an okay substitute? What kind of effect would it have, do you think?
Thanks!
Sure! I just like the taste of the peaches the best, and the color always looks best without using berries (the berries make it sort of brownish).
UPDATE – This Bai5 coconut water rocked my smoothie world!!! Never going back – this stuff is delicious! As is this recipe. Not only that, but it provides a great & simple guide for using other fruits/addings – love it!!!
I love hearing that! Thanks for the comment Lauren!
Learning to love coconut water, but prefer the Lemon Coconut water. I was shocked to see peas in the recipe… that is a new one that I most def need to try!
Peaches? 🙂 haha.
This looks so refreshing. Im curious about adding a little fresh mint.
Oh, I LOVE that idea!
