Reasons why I’m not on schedule:
1. An extreme haircut yesterday. NINE inches.
2. A post-haircut counseling session with Bjork.
3. Cleaning the house/eating treats for last night’s party. Treats helps you clean faster, duh.
4. Hanging out until all hours of the night with the best friends everrr.
Christmas Party 2011 was a huge success. The dip is gone, the white elephant presents are thrown away, the dishes are done, and Pinch of Yum is now on a temporary late post schedule.
Eat a cookie and stay tuned. I’ll be back.
Awww! Love the new hair! Are you sad? It looks adorable.
I actually do like it, but it’s just WAY shorter than what I had imagined (hence the post-haircut counseling session). It will be perfect in about 3 weeks, when I feel like it’s grown out just a little bit more! 🙂
Cute hair cut!! I think you made the right choice. 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas week.
Thanks Julie! I felt OK about it until I saw all my hair on the floor. There were a few panicked moments there… 🙂
love the new haircut – really cute
Wow, 9 inches! The new do looks great 🙂
Thanks Emily! 🙂
Love the hair! 9 inches is a ton!
I know – I didn’t realize it was going to be that much! I would have waited and gone back when it was 10 so that I could have donated it!
Who is that guy who is really into it??!!! 🙂
Yeah, that’s him again.
LOVE your hair!!! So cute!
Aw, thanks. 🙂
Love your hair! So chic and so practical too! I can’t pull that off though!
Happy New Year !!
xoxo
Thanks! Happy New Year to you, too!
The hair looks so great, you are beautiful! Probably feels super weird to wash it and have it just…end!
lol… YES! My pony tail is, well, pretty much non existent.
Awww! Cute haircut! I remember the cycle from college days – long, short, growing out, long, short, growing out…Keeps you young, right?!?!
I’m still in the cycle. Next year this time I’ll be back to long (or wishing for long)!
Hi Lindsay. This is my first time visiting but I love the hair. I cut off about 16 inches last year – showering is breeze 🙂 I’m in that in between, can’t decide to stay short or go long phase. Enjoy the short hair!
Ahhh 16 inches! Did you donate it or just cut it for a thrill? 😉 Thanks for the nice comment!
i love your new haircut!! i really want to cut off a bunch of mine and yours looks so cute it makes me want to even more. 🙂
Thanks Sarah! Go for the short – so far its been a breeze to style!
LOVE the haircut. A little sad that I won’t get air kissed by Bjork any time soon though… 🙂
Lol. Hopefully not. 🙂
Oh my goodness, you are rockin’ that new hair cut of your my dear! I LOVE IT!!!!!
Thanks Nora! When I look at myself in the mirror I’m going to repeat that to myself. 🙂
Oh, wow! You are so brave to let go of that much hair! It looks great. Wish I could go shorter, but I just don’t trust my wild locks.
Thanks! I’ve had this same cut before, just not this short. And I didn’t exactly plan for it to be this short (I think I said something like “shoulder length” which it obviously is not) but it’s growing on me, no pun intended! 🙂
Your hair looks terrific. Nine inches was very brave. Happy New Year!
Aw, thanks! Happy New Year to you also!
