Hey guys! I have some exciting news for this cloudy, cold, want-to-go-on-a-tropical-vacation Friday in March – WE’RE HIRING AGAIN!
Maybe you walked in to work this morning and are currently sitting at your desk feeling a little less than sparkly about your job situation. Or maybe you are in between jobs, or just about to graduate, and you’re trying to figure out what comes next. Or maybe you weren’t even looking for a change but you’re reading this and all of a sudden entertaining the idea of making an energizing switch to a more creative role and it all kind of gives you the excited butterflies.
Right?! I have excited butterflies, too.
The full details about the position that we’re calling the Digital Content Producer are listed out at the end of this post, so bop on down there to get the full scoop — but before jumping right into that, I thought might be helpful to give you a picture (umm literally) of what a typical work day can look like for our little team of Jenna and me.
8:00am – Jenna
starting the day at a coffee shop with website and design-related work
9:00am – Lindsay
starting the day at home with email and messaging with Jenna and Bjork on Slack
10:00am – Jenna
working on email and comments from the studio
11:00am – Lindsay
getting groceries for the recipe shoot
12:00pm – Jenna
heading out into the North Loop of Minneapolis to grab lunch
1:00pm – Lindsay
requesting all hands on deck for a cute snack photo
2:00pm – Jenna
unpacking and setting up a shipment of studio decor
3:00pm – Lindsay
cooking and photographing and eating eating eating
4:00pm – Jenna
setting up the studio office for the new hire ♡
5:00pm – Lindsay
very important meeting with Sage
And then we go home and relax and come back to do it all again the next day.
Obviously there is lots of stuff in between including but not limited to lots of cooking and eating, deciding how to set up the studio (!!), and “meeting” aka eating donut holes and coffee while Sage sleeps next to us in her heated dog bed, but this is just a small-portion peek inside what our day-to-day looks like here.
To say that Jenna, Sage, and I are excited about the possibility of adding someone to our little studio office environment is an understatement!
I’ve listed out the job description and application requirements below, so if this job sounds like it could be for you — PLEASE APPLY!
And if it sounds like it could be right for someone you know, we would so appreciate it if you would spread the word. It’s super important for us not only to hire someone who is qualified for the job tasks, but someone who is a good fit with our team and our brand. And you all – you Pinch of Yum readers – are our best asset for finding the just-right person because you KNOW people.
Feel free to shoot any questions about the position or the application process to Jenna at [email protected].

This is the *BEST* job posting I’ve ever laid eyes on.
We are wondering if we could use a recipe in our newsletter to patients. We also put every newsletter on the website. Pomegranate, Kale, and Wild Rice Salad with Walnuts and Feta Recipe and Pictures is the one we are looking at. We could provide a link back to your site and would mention you too. Please advise. Thanks, Jen
Thank you for the informative post! You guys are truly inspiring. Wish I could help you out – let me know if there’s ever a way to join the team from the Bay Area in nor Cal!
I would so apply if I lived in the Twin Cities! I’m in the Chicago area 🙁 If there ends up being an opportunity for telecommuting, I’d jump on it! Oh, and I named my daughter Sage! Just sayin’
