When you see these faces, you just know.
There are so many tender and sweet and sacred moments that find their way into the daily grind of this place, it’s enough to make a person’s heart explode.
Like adoringly feeding a baby doll out of a blue plastic… trough. Where did she even find that thing?
Heart, boom.
Wearing the most awkward one-eared bunny rabbit wearing glasses helmet, and laughing about it.
Dinkin’ around with friends.
Asking to be photographed for the hundred-and-fiftieth time. Still loving it just as much as the first time.
Following 101 steps for re-wrapping the baby.
Sitting on a house father’s lap and singing Christmas songs in January.
You couldn’t even make this stuff up.
These are the prettiest faces ever, aren’t they?
Seriously wow.
The cutest faces indeed <3
Cute. Indeed. What an honor that you get to be with them!!
They are just so cute and it’s great that you’ve been able to be part of their life and they’ve been such a big part of yours.
Adorable!
… Do you know where I can buy a sweet bunny helmet like that?
Hahhaahahaa! 🙂 I could probably make that happen.
So sweet!
So beautiful……How will you ever be able to leave those beautiful babies???? I love sharing your photo’s with my daughter who is 11. Off to try the garlic butter pasta recipe you posted. Looks yummy!
Lovely!
It’s funny… I’m sitting at my desk during indoor recess with my bowl of cafeteria “veggie bean caviar” and the students with whom I’ve been trapped indoors for every school second of the last week… And I’m feeling just the way you describe. 🙂 Aren’t we so lucky to be living the lives we love? (p.s. We miss you!)
VEGGIE BEAN CAVIAR!
They are all so precious!
Yes, wow! Made my day! 🙂
I don’t know what else to say but they are. So very much they are.
Gorgeous kids, gorgeous photos!
They make my heart happy and my face smile!
So gorgeous! I was an AFS student to the Philippines during my high school years ( millions of years ago!) and your pictures bring back such wonderful memories. I miss it!

Wow, those photos are heart wrenching, they make me wish that I could afford to adopt them all and then some. They belong to a lucky lucky family indeed.
Hi Lindsay,
I really enjoy your recipes, especially your great photography. This Chinese dish sounds like one I would like to try although I haven’t had real good luck cooking Chinese. Will let you know how it comes out.
I especially like following Bjork’s income reports and can’t wait to get January’s report.
