There’s actually really very delicious food at Disney World! As a food lover, these are my favorite foods from all the parks.
The Best Foods At Disney World

Permission To Speak Freely?
We just got back from a Disney trip, and the food at Disney has been a topic of continuous conversation between the friends in my life who are just-coming-home-from-Disney or soon-going-to-Disney.
Disney people (as in, people who really really love Disney) will tell you that the food at Disney World is delicious.
God bless them, but how can we trust them? How can we know they aren’t being blinded by their love of the most magical place on earth?
I do have an appreciation for Disney World, but I am decidedly a food person before I’m a Disney person, which means I have a (self-declared) unbiased perspective on the subject and authority to write this post!
Yes, there are plenty of overpriced and underwhelming Mickey pretzels and Dole whip stands. I said it.
But even for us food snobs, some of the food at Disney is really actually very delicious.
A Disney trip probably isn’t going to be your most gourmet experience ever, but I promise there are some gems. Let’s find you some really delicious little bites! I love this for all of us.
Have a great trip! (And if you have a favorite to add, please share in the comments!)
Best Foods At Magic Kingdom
1
This Cronut
Located at the Joffrey’s in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
I thought it was going to be gimmicky but this was not a drill. 10 stars. Eating this cronut (a cross between a croissant and a donut) may have been one of my favorite food experiences at Disney. It was dense and heavy, but also flakey and layered all at the same time. (And a note to say that every coffee and every pastry I had from a Joffrey’s on every trip has been very, very good. The donuts, the scones, all of it.)
2
Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
Located at Egg Roll Wagon in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.
I’m sorry, but these cheeseburger egg rolls were incredible. So good, in fact, that we went back for a second order right after we finished the first. The sauce was so good that I walked back up to little stand and tell them how much I loved it like a real food weirdo.
Best Foods At Animal Kingdom
3
These Amazing Churros
Located at the bar in Nomad Lounge at Tiffins restaurant at Animal Kingdom.
These churros with dipping sauce have to be at the top of my list. Hot, crispy, and a little chewy on the inside with a rotating selection of dipping sauces. Also gluten free! This was one of my favorite things I ate at all of WDW.
4
Chimichurri Beef and Grilled Wood Fired Chicken Bowls
Located at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora at Animal Kingdom.
This is a build-your-own menu and it’s great. We got the combination bowl with beef and chicken, with rice and black beans, and the creamy herb dressing. The popping bubbles are a bit strange and unnecessary, but this is Disney so I will allow it. This was one of the best “real meals” I had at Disney!
Best Foods At Hollywood Studios
5
Brisket Grilled Cheese
Located at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
Whoa. This brisket grilled cheese sandwich is meaty, cheesy, perfectly grilled. Dunked in the tomato soup standing next to Slinky Dog… 5 stars.
6
Glazed Almonds
Located at all parks.
You can get cinnamon sugar almonds at all the parks, and honestly, you should. The warmer, the crunchier, the better. Please especially get them if you’re there on a rainy day. They smell good, they taste good, it’s a moment.
Best Foods At EPCOT
7
Rice Bowls, Tostadas, and Margaritas.
Located at Choza de Margarita or La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico at EPCOT.
Mexico in EPCOT is where it’s at. Top picks: cucumber margarita, tostada de pollo, and a chicken rice bowl with cotija, pickled onions, and a little side of tomatillo salsa. I am hungry right now just thinking of it.
8
Beef Brisket Sandwich
Located at the Regal Eagle in the America section of the World Showcase at EPCOT.
I don’t consider myself a big meat lover, but this brisket sandwich, with a side of onion rings, was really delicious. Lots of sauces to choose from, and you might consider a side of mac and cheese with the whole thing.
Bonus Favorite!
9
Bomboloni
Located at Le Petit Cafe in the Riviera Resort.
Every time we’ve gone to Disney, we’ve stayed on the Skyliner and have ended up over at the Riviera resort for breakfasts. This little bomboloni, a nutella stuffed donut, from their coffee shop, was pretty much ideal in every way.
Foods You Can Skip
at Norway in EPCOT
It’s a cult favorite, but would be okay if I didn’t eat it again. It’s heavy and bready and just not my favorite.
everywhere around Disney
Controversial opinion but I think it’s over-hyped. It’s just not my favorite. If you must get it, the classic pineapple is the right move.
Foods Still On My Wish List
Woody’s Lunchbox at Hollywood
My good friends told me it’s the real deal. Pastry crust and yummy filling and everything. I’m going to need to try it on our next trip!
Trolley Car Cafe at Hollywood
It looks thick and yummy and it’s supposed to be a fan-favorite. I need to try it!
Thank you so much for all of these Disney World food reviews! My family is going on a trip at the end of the month and this was perfect timing! Can’t wait to try out some new eats.
As a food allergy mom, we love the food at Disney because there are good food allergy procedures in place. It’s great to know we’ll be able to find an option we can all enjoy and nobody has to miss out.

I’m not heading to Disney anytime soon but this post and Lindsay’s editorial flair was an absolute delight. High fives to all the “food weirdos” out there!
Yes!! 🙌 Loved reading this post! As someone who’s goal it is to try all the things (especially at Disney), I agree that food there both – a. often unjustly gets a bad rap & b. isn’t always the cult favs that are the best. Cheeseburger Eggrolls are an exception, I missed out on that one for too long when I was vegetarian.
I recommend putting Cítricos at the Grand Floridian on your list for your next visit. It’s a true gem that I feel is often overlooked!
Love this! I loved the chili garlic shrimp bowl at Satu’li so may have to give the beef and chicken bowl a try! Thanks for tips!— Forever Dole Whip Fan 😉
Great list! I would add going to breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace at Riviera to your next trip! Everything we’ve ordered there has been great!
Thanks for sharing this list. Our family is headed to Disney World next month and I’m putting these foods on my “to do” list!
Lindsay!! My favorite worlds are colliding with this magical post! Thank you for bringing us the best food research from the most magical place on Earth – it is SO needed ✨ I couldn’t agree more with your choices, especially the churros from Nomad Lounge!! I need to try that Cronut next time. Something to add to your wish list: the pulled pork nachos at Capt. Cooks (Polynesian Resort)!
Love your post. We’re big Disney people who look forward to eating there as much as doing the parks.
I’m not sure if it counts as “Disney food” but my family has a few must-eats at Disney Springs: the ribs and ramen at Morimoto street food, Gideons cookies, and the affogato from Vivoli. Also, everyone loved the Brioche ice cream thing in France in Epcot. 😁
Wait – you didn’t get a cookie from Gideon’s in Disney Springs?
