Why I Blog

Blogging used to be just a hobby for me, but recently, it has become my full-time job!

There are so many things about this process that have been meaningful and rewarding for me – both in the beginning when we were still just doing it for fun and now that we’re doing it “for real.” Here’s why I love blogging:

  • learning more about food, cooking, and photography
  • sharing yummy recipes with other food lovers
  • offering practical food ideas that are approachable for any kind of cook
  • offering ideas to help people enjoy healthy eating
  • creating resources like my eBook and meal planning system, Everyday Healthy
  • helping others start their own blog
  • sharing photography tips in a food photography eBook
  • developing the blog into a source of income (which is now my full-time job – unnnnreal)
  • using a portion of that income to support causes near and dear to our hearts
  • helping other bloggers get started and grow through Food Blogger Pro

It has been so fun to connect, learn, grow, and share through Pinch of Yum. Like, unexpectedly fun and wonderful. I mean, seriously – what a crazy ride this has been from the very start of the little hobby food blog to now the food blog that has become my real job.
