Announcing the Holiday Bucket List
Announcing… The Holiday Bucket List!
Most of my holiday traditions are based around Christmas, so in my family we are entering an incredibly tradition-rich, nostalgic, and charming time of year – familiar holiday music, the warm cozy glow of candles, the faces of people we love, babies in Christmas jammies (omg), twinkly lights on the frosted trees outside. And maybe best of all, the house is filled with the warm smells of classic recipes that make their appearance just a few times each year.
So this season we’re channeling all of the holiday food magic of the holidays into something brand new – the Pinch of Yum Holiday Bucket List!

Other Important Details
What if I want to make dietary modifications to a recipe?
That’s great! Everybody likes and needs different things when it comes to food. Make your subs and swaps, no problem! Send us the photo like usual, and if you leave a review it’s super helpful if you note what you changed about the recipe (used plant-based protein instead of ground beef, for example) in case others might want to do the same!
The only way to get a bonus entry is to leave a review on the recipe itself! As long as you use the same email address for both entries, that will count as two entries.
I would LOVE to see your recipe photos on Instagram as well – if you tag @pinchofyum I should be able to find them!
Can I enter the individual giveaways and the grand prize?
How old do I have to be to participate?
To be entered to win a prize, you will need to be 18 years or older.
Do I need to live in the U.S. to win?
Individual prizes are limited to U.S. residents. The grand prize can be won by anyone worldwide.
How will winners be chosen?
By emailing your completed recipe image to us, you are entered to win the prize associated with that recipe. A bonus entry is counted when you leave a rating for the recipe on the blog.
Winners will be selected at random from individual recipe entries (combining email entries with rating entries).
Can I win multiple prizes?
You can enter them all! One prize per winner is allowed.
One prize per recipe and one grand prize will be awarded.
If your name is selected for a prize, a member of our team will contact you on December 21st through the email address used for your entry.
Individual prizes will be shipped to the selected winners (based in the US), and the grand prize cash will be delivered via PayPal.

I love your recipes, and this Holiday Bucket List is so much fun! I’ve already printed them all out so I can add any special ingredients to my grocery list. 😀
Thanks for the upbeat and inspirational blog posts and recipes. Especially in our long, cold, Minnesota winters, it really helps!
This is just the coolest. What a brilliant idea!! And the PDF is gorgeous – it’s going up on my fridge. Going to try to make all 8 and bring the goodies to holiday parties and work!
This is such a fun idea! These will definitely be on my list of recipes to make this holiday season 🙂
I love this idea! So fun! I just picked up everything this morning to make the Wild Rice Soup and just now saw the list. ☺️
Looks like I have my annual Christmas brunch party menu already made for me! Looking forward to making/remaking these recipes!

How fun is this?!! Love
Love love this! Cannot wait to get started -these look amazing!
What an awesome idea!!
This sounds like fun! I’m trying to use up items in my pantry and freezer and have almost everything needed to make these 8 recipes. Just printed them out to get started!
I am SO EXCITED for this because these are basically the recipes I already have in rotation for the coming month. (Hello, fellow Minnesotan here!) Game on!
Lyndsey, I made the merry mocktail tonight! I am hosting book club here tomorrow evening and wanted a fun, holiday drink. It was wonderful.

OMG- I love this idea! I will try to do some of these with my kids in Dec.
I’m really excited to try these recipes! What a fun way to celebrate the holidays!
What a great idea! Thank you for the article.
Love this! Several of these are regulars for me and already on my list to make, bonus I can enter for a prize.
I just finished my recipes today and I want to say a huge thanks. I tried recipes I’m not sure I would tried otherwise. As a result there are definitely a few new ones in the rotation.
I just finished the challenge. Thank you for doing this as it was a fun addition to my holiday season. It gave me an excuse to try some recipes I had been wanting to try and forced me out of my comfort zone to try other recipes that I may have otherwise overlooked. Here is my round-up:
Favorite recipe: carmelizex onion dip- what can I say? Quick, easy, fresh, and who doesn’t like a dip
Close second: The very best chocolate cookie- I brought these to a cookie swap and they were such a hit, overwhelmingly positive reviews
Least favorite: the merry mocktail- I liked trying the interesting combination of flavors, but no matter what ratio I used, I just found the drink too sweet for me. I mainly just drink water normally, so I am really not used to any amount of sugar in my drinks, so it could just be a me thing.
Most surprising: Swedish meatballs- I had never tried a Swedish meatball so I was not sure what to expect. They were really tasty! I think I would make these again.
Thank you again for creating this challenge. It was a pleasure. I hope there will be another one in the future.
This has been so much fun. Thank you for this challenge!
Super Fun – I came down with some sort of creepy crud, but just had to finish those cinnamon rolls to get all 8 under the wire…All solid recipes, things I wouldn’t have normally cooked myself, all performed alright using gluten free flours/ingredients. Great little challenge, thanks!
I really love this idea!
